From the sweeping, ancient shadows of legendary sagas to the immersive worlds of modern video games and interactive media, we create cinematic music that brings stories to life.
At Cinematic Fairytale, our team of video-game and film composers creates bespoke music tailored to your project, including original game music composition, game scoring, film music, orchestral music, custom soundtrack composition, and audio production for interactive media. Our work spans haunting modern electronic atmospheres, epic orchestral scores, fantasy music, and hybrid cinematic soundtracks.
As a custom music composer team, we do not simply score your project; we help awaken its identity and emotional world. Whether you are looking for a video game music composer, game scoring specialist, film score composer, or a partner for interactive audio production, we craft music for stories, worlds, and unforgettable moments.
Original game music. Game scoring. Film music. Interactive audio production. Cinematic orchestral scores. Custom compositions for games, film, and interactive media.
To support seamless production pipelines for interactive media producers, game developers, filmmakers, and trailer production companies, here is an overview of our technical capabilities, audio deliverables, and production workflow.
Our studio workflow is powered by Steinberg Nuendo 13, the industry-standard digital audio workstation for professional post-production and game audio. We deliver audio assets optimised for implementation in major game engines such as Unreal Engine and Unity. Thanks to Nuendo's native Game Audio Connect (GAC) integration, we provide a seamless asset pipeline into Audiokinetic Wwise, as well as production-ready audio stems for FMOD Studio workflows.
In our studios in Malvern (UK) and Leipzig (Germany), we use state-of-the-art VSTs (virtual instruments) and professional audio production tools — the same technologies used in contemporary film trailers, blockbuster productions, and Hollywood films, including Dune: Part One, Dune: Part Two, Top Gun: Maverick, James Bond 007: No Time to Die, The Creator, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, Ready Player One, Avengers: Endgame, and X-Men: Days of Future Past.
We support the integration of audio into interactive media, including video games, immersive experiences, and real-time applications. Our production workflow is designed for seamless implementation in Unity, Unreal Engine, Audiokinetic Wwise, and FMOD Studio, enabling adaptive music systems, interactive audio events, and efficient asset management throughout the development pipeline.
We specialise in creating dynamic audio assets, including seamless ambient-to-combat transitions, multi-channel stems, and seamlessly loopable WAV files designed to minimise audible repetition and maintain player immersion. Nuendo 13 also enables us to deliver advanced spatial audio formats, including Dolby Atmos and Ambisonics, for immersive 3D game worlds, ensuring a seamless connection between visual storytelling and dynamic sound design.
Our production approach is scalable to match the scope, technical requirements, and budget of each project. We combine industry-leading, hyper-realistic sampled VST instruments with modern hybrid orchestral, electronic, and synthetic sound design. For premium productions, we offer live orchestra recording sessions, managing the complete production process from composition and orchestration to score preparation, recording sessions, and final delivery.
For high-impact trailer music production, we structure our cues according to the industry-standard three-act trailer format, incorporating escalating risers, cinematic braams, sound design impacts, sub-booms, and fully isolated, mix-ready stems. Separate percussion, melodic, synth, and choral stems provide editors with maximum flexibility for fast editorial revisions and trailer recuts.
