In June 2026, Cinematic Fairytale was founded by Joanna Bates and Sylvio Pretsch. Though young in years, it was born of an enduring devotion to music, storytelling and the worlds that dwell beyond the bounds of ordinary life. Based in the UK, its purpose is the creation of original music for games, film trailers and cinematic storytelling.

For as long as tales have been told, there has been music to walk beside them. It has lent courage to heroes, mystery to forgotten paths and wonder to distant realms. Such is the craft to which Cinematic Fairytale is devoted.

From grand orchestral scores and ancient echoes of fantasy to suspense, gothic moods and adventure, each composition is shaped in service of the story. Not merely to accompany the image, but to deepen its meaning, heighten its emotion and give voice to that which words alone cannot tell.
